  • Talent Attraction and

    Development

  • Infrastructure

The Business Enterprise Park (BEP) consists of approximately 550 acres of property directly across Interstate 74 from Honda’s Indiana Auto Plant in Greensburg. This site is one of the region’s most promising economic development opportunities. Because of its proximity to the automaker, the site benefits from significant electric infrastructure, offering power capabilities not available in many sites of its size. This presents tremendous opportunities for multiple industrial uses, including data centers. READI funds of $250,000 will be used for sanitary sewer improvements with matching funds coming from the City of Greensburg and a private developer. Through a partnership with Hoosier Energy, the site has potential for a data center and scored well for hyper-centers and/or smaller enterprise centers. High-speed fiber accessible from Interstate 74, combined with abundant power capacity, has made the BEP a top data center site in the Hoosier Energy service area. The project will begin on March 1, 2025, and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2026. Matching funds will be provided by the City of Greensburg and the Economic Development Corporation of Greensburg and Decatur County. All matching funds will be secured by 12/31/2025
